Real Women Drive Cars

Den 22:a maj arresterades Manal al-Sharif eftersom hon kört bil och startat en kampanj för kvinnors rätt att  köra bil i Saudiarabien. Det finns ingen formell lag som förbjuder kvinnor att köra bil, men flera fatwor gör detta. Detta är en symbol för det kvinnoförtryck som finns i Saudiarabien.

Arresting a woman who drove her family around in a car and then showed it online opens Saudi Arabia to condemnation - and, in fact, to mockery - around the world. The longer she stays in prison, the more the kingdom will have to answer for.
