Humanistpodden - Peter Singer

Peter Singer is an Australian philosopher who is the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University and Laureate Professor at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne.

This interview is sort of an introduction to his stance on a number of ethical and philosphical issues, and for those not familiar with him, there is quite possibly an impression that he is very controversial. Something that is reinforced by criticism from chiefly religious groups directed towards his opinions on matters such as abortion, eugenics, and animal rights. A criticism that seems to be more or less constant.
